VILTROX Teleconversion Lens for Fujifilm X100 Black 1.4x Series, TCL-X100VI

[1.4x Wide-Angle Conversion Lens] Compatible with X100VI / X100V / X100F. This teleconversion lens converts the angle of view to a 1.4x medium telephoto. Since the aperture value remains unchanged and brightness is maintained, you can achieve a natural wide-angle view in landscape and snapshot photography. [High-Image Quality Design with 4 Groups and 5 Elements - High-Refractive Index Lenses] The 4-group, 5-element configuration suppresses distortion, achieving clear and natural rendering even at the edges. Two high-refractive index lenses enable sharp, high-contrast wide-angle expression. [Multi-layer coating + water-repellent and stain-resistant coating] All lens surfaces are treated with a multi-layer coating to effectively reduce flare and ghosting. The front element is also treated with a water-repellent and stain-resistant coating, making it resistant to dirt and easy to clean. [Lightweight and compact for easy portability] Designed to match the X100 series' design, it's lightweight and compact. It doesn't compromise balance when attached, making it ideal for everyday snapshots and travel photography. [Automatic Recognition Compatible Models and Notes] The X100F / X100V / X100VI support automatic recognition of attached lenses. For other models, please switch manually from the settings menu. *The silver X100 series has paint that is prone to peeling on the front frame, so please be careful when attaching it. The Fuji X100 series is an APS-C camera with a fixed focal length lens, and the standard lens has a focal length of 23mm (approximately 35mm in full-frame equivalent). By attaching the WCL-X100VI or TCL-X100VI, this standard field of view can be expanded to 28mm-50mm (equivalent). 1. By attaching the WCL-X100VI (wide-angle) and TCL-X100VI (telephoto) lenses, which expand the field of view and overcome the limitations of focal length, the normal 35mm equivalent field of view is extended to 28mm-50mm equivalent, allowing for greater compositional freedom. 2 | Automatic Recognition Support: Thanks to a magnet inside the lens, the conversion lens is automatically recognized when attached. After automatic recognition, the camera automatically corrects distortion and aberrations to match the lens. The focal length of the conversion lens is also recorded in the EXIF data, making it easier to manage your footage. (Note: The magnification of the digital teleconverter is not reflected in the EXIF data.) Models that support automatic recognition: X100F / X100V / X100VI. For other models, please select manually from the settings menu. 3 | Natural rendering and comfortable operation The WCL-X100VI / TCL-X100VI is designed to preserve the image quality of the original lens, virtually eliminating aberrations such as image blur, field curvature, and image dispersion. The camera's phase-detection autofocus also functions accurately, enabling highly precise focusing from single-point AF to area AF. It can be seamlessly for both photos and videos, and the field of view control is natural and smooth. Because it is a front-mounted conversion lens, the aperture value (brightness) does not change. 4 | Two-tone metal design creates a seamless look with the camera. The exterior is made of metal while achieving a lightweight design. To harmonize with the design of the X100 series, it is available in two colors: black and silver. ⚠️ Notes (Important) The silver models of the Fuji X100 series have a tendency for the paint on the front frame of the lens to peel off easily. Since the paint may rub off when attaching a conversion lens, please be sure to inform silver model users in advance. ✅ Q&A (Frequently Asked Questions) ① How does the image quality compare to the original? The WCL-X100VI / TCL-X100VI is designed to achieve image quality close to the original, and the difference in rendering is at a very small level. ② Can a filter be attached to the front? Wide-angle lens: φ49mm filter compatible Telephoto lens: φ67mm filter compatible. *Thick filters may cause dark angles, so CPL, variable ND, and thick-frame filters are not recommended. ③ Can it be with other lenses? It can be installed using a φ49mm external thread to internal thread adapter. However, because this product has an optical design specifically for the X100 series, other models may experience issues such as reduced image quality. ④ Does the aperture value (brightness) change? No, it does not. Because it is a front-mounted type, it maintains the camera's original aperture value. ⑤ Has the minimum focusing distance changed? Yes, it has. WCL-X100VI: Allows you to get slightly closer. TCL-X100VI: The minimum focusing distance is slightly longer. ⑥ How does the automatic recognition work? The camera detects the magnet built into the lens and automatically determines whether it is attached or not. ⑦ Does this affect autofocus? Almost no effect. The AF system accurately detects each focus point. ⑧ Are there any points to note? Please be sure to inform customers about the risk of paint peeling when installing on silver models. (Similar cases have occurred with genuine conversion lenses.)
