Melkib Uv 100Gm Mb-0042 50 - Uv/Vis Glue For Glass And Metal, Fast Curing

What is MELKIB UV 100GM used for?

Provides good resistance to thermal cycling and impact, and adhesion to a wide range of substrates (including many plastics and most metals).

The adhesive is recommended for applications with small gaps less than 0.25 mm, which facilitates the assembly of components with tight fit tolerances.

The product meets halogen-free and RoHS requirements.

In UV adhesives, full exposure to the joint is crucial. If the light does not reach the entire bonding zone (e.g.

Do you need help selecting a UV adhesive?

Specify the materials, gap and exposure method - we will suggest a solution and process parameters.

Store in a cool, dark place when not in use. The product has a shelf life of 12 months when stored at 5–25°C in the original, unopened container.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

The most common reason is a lack of exposure to the entire bonding zone. Lamp intensity, distance, exposure time, and substrate permeability also play a role.

UV intensity of 100 mW/cm2 is required on exposed surfaces.

Can it be used on thermoplastics?

Yes, but ensure cooling is provided for temperature-sensitive substrates and check the plastic for the risk of stress cracking when in contact with the liquid adhesive.

Practical tips: surface preparation, exposure and typical errors affecting the quality of the weld. Note: Data are indicative; a test under application conditions is recommended before use. Color: nan Size: 50 ml
