Weicon Silicon Ht-300 Fb 280 , Red High-Temperature Silicone, Acetate Cross-Linking, Sealant For Furnaces, Exhausts And Heating Installations

WEICON Silicon HT-300 FB 280 ml is a red, high-temperature silicone adhesive and sealant with acetate cross-linking. It is permanently elastic and weather-resistant, and resistant to temperatures up to +280 °C (short-term up to +300 °C), making it ideal for use in furnaces, exhaust systems, and heating installations.

Advantages and unique features

• Thermal resistance −40…+280 °C, short-term up to +300 °C

• Fast skin formation approx. 8 min; hardening 2–3 mm / 24 h

• High flexibility – elongation up to approx. 300%, hardness approx. 30 ShA

• Very good adhesion to steel, aluminum, glass and ceramics

• Does not contain solvents; acetate crosslinking

Properties and applications

• High-temperature seals: industrial ovens, boilers, heat exchangers, heating chambers.

• Automotive and MRO: exhaust systems, heat shields, exhaust connections (except in places of constant contact with fuels).

• HVAC installations: duct transitions, flanges, heater housings.

• Bonding/joining: metal and glass elements exposed to vibrations and temperature changes.
