Loxeal 29 Cyanoacrylate Adhesive 20G, Black High Viscosity Ca Adhesive For Flexible Bonding Of Metal To Rubber And Gap Filling

LOXEAL cyanoacrylate adhesive 29 (INSTANT-29) 20 g is a single-component, fast-setting, high-viscosity CA adhesive designed for flexible bonding of metals with rubber and other materials. It is characterized by very high bonding strength, the ability to fill larger gaps, and an extended open time, which facilitates precise adjustment of elements before gluing.

Advantages and unique features

• High viscosity - fills gaps well and does not run off vertical surfaces.

• Designed for flexible metal-rubber connections, and also bonds many other materials.

• The extended setting time facilitates positioning and adjustment of parts before pressing.

• Good fatigue resistance of the joint and high impact resistance.

• Possibility of building thicker joints (using an activator) with high hardness.

• Low consumption - a thin layer on one of the bonded surfaces is enough.

Properties and applications

• Range of materials: metal, glass, wood, plastics, cork, paper, stone and various types of rubber (including chloroprene, nitrile).

• Metal-rubber connections: ideal for flexible, yet very strong connections in vibration damping elements, seals and bumpers.

• Joining small elements: quick setting and precise application make it perfect for assembling small parts.

• Gap filling: high viscosity and the ability to fill gaps of approx. 10-200 µm allow for strong joints on less perfectly fitted surfaces.

• Fast setting: the grip time depends on the material - from a few to several dozen seconds (e.g. rubber approx. 5 s, aluminum 10–30 s, steel 20–50 s).

• Acceleration of the reaction: the setting time can be shortened by using dedicated activators, which simultaneously harden excess adhesive.

Store the product away from moisture, food, and out of the reach of children.

What is LOXEAL Cyanoacrylate Adhesive 29 best used for?

It works best for elastically bonding metals to rubber, but is also suitable for metal, glass, wood, many plastics, cork, paper, and stone.

How fast does this adhesive set?

Depending on the substrate, the setting time ranges from a few to several dozen seconds; the bond achieves full strength after approximately 24 hours.

Is LOXEAL 29 suitable for filling gaps?

Yes, thanks to its high viscosity, it fills gaps of 10–200 µm well in less precise fits.

What is the temperature range in which the joint can operate?

Yes, by using an appropriate activator, which shortens the setting time and allows for a thicker, harder joint.
