KORG SQ-1 Step Sequencer Compact USB Bus Power

Elevate your music production and live performance with the KORG SQ‑1 Step Sequencer, a compact yet powerful hardware sequencer that connects and controls a wide range of synthesizers and music gear.

Designed with versatility in mind, the SQ‑1 features dual 8‑step sequencing lanes that can be used independently or combined in various modes to create rhythmic loops and melodic patterns with ease. Whether you’re controlling analog classics like the MS‑20, modern compact synths, Volca units, or syncing via USB MIDI with your DAW, this sequencer gives you hands‑on creative freedom.

The SQ‑1’s robust connectivity includes CV/Gate outputs with selectable voltage standards, standard MIDI OUT, USB MIDI, SYNC IN/OUT, and even a littleBits OUT jack — letting you sequence vintage gear, modular systems, modern instruments, and more from a single unit.

Thanks to its compact metal body, you get durability and portability — perfect for studio setups, live stages, and jam sessions. Power the unit either with two AA batteries (approx. 5 hours battery life) or USB bus power for flexible on‑the‑go music making.

The intuitive step buttons let you edit patterns in real time, perform improvisations, and explore creative sequencing modes such as Slide, Step Jump, and Active Step — ideal for experimental grooves or full compositions.

Whether you’re a synthesizer enthusiast, electronic music producer, or live performer, the KORG SQ‑1 Step Sequencer is a must‑have tool for expressive control and sequencing freedom.
