Rosin Thermopaste Rosin Flux For Soldering

Rosin Thermopaste 20 ml rosin flux for soldering

Rosin Thermopaste 20 ml is a rosin flux with added activators, designed for precision soldering work. The product supports soldering with a tin-lead alloy, helps reduce the oxidation of joints, and reduces the risk of cold solder joints.

The 20 ml variant in a metal can is the manufacturer's current packaging for the ART.AGT-033 code. This is the smallest format in this series, so it is well suited for minor repairs, occasional soldering, electronics servicing, and work requiring a small amount of rosin.

Applications of Rosin Thermopaste 20 ml

Rosin Thermopaste is used as a flux when soldering with a tin-lead alloy. The product facilitates joint preparation for soldering, supports wetting of soldered surfaces, and helps reduce metal oxidation during operation.

The manufacturer also indicates that rosin can be used as a base for a reference flux in the form of a 25% solution in isopropyl alcohol. This allows the product to be used not only in typical service work, but also in technical applications where the preparation of a rosin solution is required.

What distinguishes Termopasty Rosin 20 ml

The most important distinguishing feature of the product is the rosin formula with activators, compliant with ISO 9454-1 type 1131 and J-STD-004 ROL0. The product has activity similar to solder paste, but is not a solder paste. It acts as a flux supporting the soldering process.

Rosin helps reduce joint oxidation and reduces the risk of cold solder joints. The 20 ml metal can is compact, easy to store, and practical for work requiring spot flux application.

When to choose Rosin 20 ml

The 20 ml variant is worth choosing when rosin is needed for small, precise, or occasional soldering jobs. It's a good solution for electronics service, PCB repairs, hobby workshops, and any workplace where a small and handy package is important.

If rosin is used regularly, the 40 ml or 100 ml variant may be a better choice. For larger technical and industrial applications, the manufacturer also provides larger packages, such as 500 g and 1 kg.

What to pay attention to before use

Rosin is a soldering flux, not a soldering filler metal. It does not replace tin or soldering paste containing solder. Its purpose is to support the soldering process by reducing oxidation and improving the conditions for joint formation.

The product should be used as intended and in compliance with the safety regulations for chemicals used in soldering. Before use, it is recommended to read the manufacturer's technical data sheet and safety data sheet.

Does AGT-033 currently come in 20 g or 20 ml?

The current manufacturer's variant for ART.AGT-033 is Rosin 20 ml in a metal can. Older names may still contain 20 g, so it is worth using the current unit of 20 ml in the store.

Is Rosin Termopasty 20 ml a soldering paste?

No. This is a rosin flux with activators that supports the soldering process. It does not replace solder filler metal or solder paste containing solder.

What is rosin used for when soldering?

Rosin helps reduce the oxidation of solder joints and reduces the risk of cold solder joints. It supports proper joint formation when soldering with tin-lead alloys.

Is Rosin 20 ml suitable for electronics repair?

Yes. The product is suitable for electronics repair, workshop use, PCB repair, and precision soldering work where rosin flux is required.

What is the difference between the 20 ml package, 40 ml, and 100 ml?

The 20 ml package is the smallest variant in this series. It is suitable for minor and occasional repairs, while the 40 ml and 100 ml variants are more convenient for more frequent soldering.

Can rosin be used as a base for reference flux?

Yes. The manufacturer indicates that rosin can be used as a base for reference flux in the form of a 25% solution in isopropyl alcohol.

How to store Rosin Thermopaste 20 ml?

The product should be stored at a temperature of 5-25°C, in a tightly closed container, in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated place. Protect it from sunlight, heat, sparks, and open flames.
