84857321 84374058 Windshield Sensor with Rain, Exterior Light, and Cabin Humidity Inputs for Specified Vehicle and Model-Year Applications

Features: Three Sensing Roles: The integrated module supplies rainfall, exterior-light, and cabin-humidity inputs used by automatic wiper, lighting, and windshield defogging controls. ABS And Metal Construction: The housing combines ABS and metal with a visible rectangular electrical connector, providing concrete structural details for comparison with the existing component. Part Number Comparison: Part number 84857321 interchanges with 22761862, 84138305, 84374058, and 84642262, giving multiple identifiers to compare before replacement. Wide-temperature Stable Operations: it supports normal operations in the environment of -40℃ to 85℃, taking into account the stability of high-temperature exposure and cold climate. Rain Detection: Detects rain on the windshield and controls automatic wiper speed.

Specifications: Component: ABS, Metal OEM: 84857321 Surrounding Light Detection: Detects exterior brightness and controls automatic headlights and high/low beams. Humidity Detection: Sends cabin humidity input to the climate controller for windshield defogging.

Package Includes: 1 Unit Automatic Wiper Rain Detector

note: Issue Scenario: Automatic wipers do not start, run unexpectedly, or run at an abnormal speed. Automatic headlights do not turn on or off. Climate control defogging is abnormal and the windshield fogs easily. Diagnostic codes B3952 or B0083 indicate a rain or light detector fault. Water intrusion or internal circuit board damage causes intermittent behavior. Windshield replacement or detector adhesive separation causes input loss.
