It moves the camera in accordance with the Earth's rotation, enabling not only traditional automatic tracking photography but also features such as customizable rotation speed via smartphone and a shutter release function to control the camera shutter. You can set up interval and time-lapse photography controls via smartphone. 【Capture the Beauty of Starry Sky and Landscape as One Scene】 Polarie U expands the possibilities of astrophotography, allowing anyone to enjoy the thrill of capturing the night sky. It is a motor-driven camera mount that moves in sync with the stars. By mounting Polarie U and the camera on a tripod, you can keep the stars as points and incorporate them beautifully into your photos. 【Five Tracking Modes】 (1) Starry Sky Landscape Mode (Half-Speed Tracking) → For landscape photography including the starry sky. Tracks celestial objects at half the speed of the star's daily motion, allowing stars to remain point-like while capturing landscapes without motion blur. Suitable for wide-angle lenses. (2) Star Tracking Mode (Sidereal Tracking) → For photographing constellations, the Milky Way, and nebulae. Moves in accordance with the star's daily motion, capable of capturing even faint stars. Suitable for wide to standard lenses. (3) Solar Tracking Mode (4) Custom Mode: Allows arbitrary setting of rotation speed and other operational parameters. Default is set to 4x speed. (5) External Setting Mode: Supports changing settings in Custom Mode and controlling the camera shutter via a release function. 【Equipped with Camera and Autoguider Terminals】 Compatible with cameras that have bulb function and wired release terminals, supporting interval shooting and other control settings. By linking Polarie U's operation with the release, you can easily set up time-lapse shooting via smartphone. Also compatible with control via commercial autoguiders (only in right ascension direction).
