Each pen in the Maestro Jubilee series is crafted by dedicated artisans using precious marine nacre with first-class craftsmanship. Xezo is committed to providing value to its enthusiasts, and this pen model is limited to just 223 pieces worldwide. This fountain pen features a gold-plated stainless steel nib with an ultra-fine point (0.3 mm line width). The brass hardware is plated with gleaming chrome. Each pen features approximately 240 checkers crafted from white marine mother-of-pearl and paua abalone shells, which have a Mohs hardness of 4.5 (as hard as steel). These tiny square pieces are expertly cut by hand to precise size and meticulously placed into the barrel. This laborious process polishes the entire barrel surface to a rounded, supple, and pleasant to the touch glossy finish - no clear coat required. These pens are beautiful, timeless, and classic works of art. Each Nakre piece was carefully selected to display the most vibrant hues. These color-changing checkers change color in the light and can have hues of white, pink, purple, green, blue, turquoise, yellow, and gray. White mother-of-pearl and Paua Abalone shells are natural materials, and each panel is unique. As such, these pens may have variations in color and texture, but this is what makes your pen truly one-of-a-kind.
